The simplest solution would be to let the sunlight do the work as it naturally will decrease the chlorine level of your pool. Faster solution would be using hydrogen peroxide in bulk to lower the chlorine level.

It is recommended to wait at least about 20 minutes to an hour before you take a dip in the pool after you add chlorine to it.
